About Taurus PT 24 7 G2
The Taurus PT 24/7 G2 is a striker-fired, double/single-action, semi automatic pistol developed by Forjas Taurus, the most popular firearms manufacturer from Brazil. The Taurus PT 24/7 G2 was first introduced in 2011 and the pistol’s production ceased in 2016. The Model PT 24/7 G2 combines the best features from the Taurus 800 Series, 24/7 Series and 24/7 OSS models. The Taurus PT 24/7 G2 is a full-sized handgun with an overall length of 7.28 inches and a 4.2 inches long barrel.
The Taurus PT24/7 G2 features a double stack magazine that’s chambered for the popular and affordable 9x19mm Parabellum or .40 S&W cartridges. However, there is also a .45 ACP version available. The 9mm version takes in 17+1 rounds of ammo while the .40SW version can be loaded with up to 15+1 rounds. The Taurus PT 24/7 G2 comes with a frame made of polymer with a steel insert, which boosts the pistol’s durability. The pistol’s slide is equipped with a fixed front and adjustable rear sights system. Among some other features of this great handgun are the second strike capability for increased reliability, contoured thumb rests, a new trigger safety and balanced spring pressure for faster shooting. The Taurus PT 24/7 G2 also features an accessory rail for quick and simple attachment of tactical lights or lasers.
