About Taurus 617 - 2"
The Taurus 617 2 inch barrel is a compact frame revolver. It was first brought to the market in 1998 and had been produced up until 2012. The revolver is chambered in .357 Mag and it’s a good concealed carry option with a high stopping power. The safety is in the form of a trigger actuated transfer bar. The cylinder can hold 7 rounds and the trigger is a DA/SA. There are more variants of the Taurus 617 2" and they vary in the frame material. It can be either blue finished steel or stainless steel.
