About Taurus PT945
The Taurus PT-945 is a double/single-action, recoil-operated, semi automatic pistol developed by a popular Brazilean firearms manufacturer, Forjas Taurus. The pistol was introduced back in 1995 and its production lasted until 2010. The PT-945 is the largest caliber in Taurus' medium frame pistol series. Its design relies on the modified SIG-type Colt-Browning tipping-barrel locking system. The pistol is chambered in the strong .45 ACP cartridge and its single-stack magazine can take in up to 8 rounds of this ammo. The frame of Taurus PT 945 is fully made of aluminum alloy and the pistol features black rubber grips, making it rather light and a great choice even for everyday concealed carry. The pistol comes with a 4.25 inch long barrel, which isn’t that easy to conceal, but the powerful caliber makes it one of the best personal-defense choices.
