About Taurus PT 101
The Taurus company was founded in 1982 as the Taurus Holdings, Inc. which is a Florida based holding company which, in turn, owns several companies responsible for some of the most robust firearms brands in the United States. The Taurus produced it’s absolutely the first revolver in 1941. In 1970, Bangor Punta, that owned the Smith & Wesson, purchased a controlling interest in the Forjas Taurus company.
The Taurus PT101 is a semi automatic large frame pistol that is well constructed. This pistol was introduced in 1992. It was designed with a well balanced features that makes this pistol very reliable. Result of the development of the firearm designers is the pistol which is popular among plenty of shooters in several countries. The Taurus PT 101 is a short recoil operated, striker fired pistol.
