Received holster a couple of weeks earlier than estimated. Holster appears to be well made with quality leather. Same approximate quality level as Desantis brand. Holster is for Taurus G2C and is requiring a good bit of fitting and breaking in. Following break in instructions used denatured alcohol in tight fitting stiff leather locations with pistol in a zip loc bag. Pistol is inserted as far as possible and left to stretch(I waited 24 hours) Huge improvement and thumb break strap fit correctly. When actually wearing holster pistol could not be removed from holster so initial break in procedure repeated. Fair amount of hand flexing of leather necessary during second round of break in. Still not 100% confident in ability to withdraw pistol when wearing holster. Will continue to wear holster and withdraw/insert pistol until effective break in achieved. Steel belt clip must be relaxed in order to fit over belt. No complaints here just an honest assessment of what’s necessary to break in this holster. THIS IS NOT A SIMPLE SNAP ON AND WEAR HOLSTER.
