Derivations of this model are chambered with the .44 Magnum, .454 Casull, and .480 Ruger ammunition. Maximum capacity of this model is 6 rounds. The Ruger SP101 2.25” Barrel 22 model is a double action revolver which incorporates many features and is similar to the previous models. This model is designed with a strong extended frame. The SP101 357 Mag is a small frame and all-steel construction revolver. The Ruger SP 101 2.25 In Barrel was introduced in 1989.
