Carry Options for Ruger LCR holsters
Concealed Carry
The Ruger LCR was built with discretion and concealment in mind. When shopping Ruger LCR concealed carry holster, think about things like how close to the body you want the revolver and how often you'll need to access it, how much you move, what you wear and so on. Different setups, from IWB to pocket or appendix, each offer their own kind of comfort and concealability. It really depends on your body type, wardrobe, and day-to-day lifestyle.
IWB Holsters
IWB (inside-the-waistband) holsters are a solid go-to for everyday carry. A Ruger LCR holster IWB keeps things low profile while staying accessible. It hugs your body well, especially with the right belt, and doesn’t print much under a shirt. For many folks, this is the default way to carry.
OWB Holsters
If you’re not too worried about printing or you’re dressed for it, OWB (outside-the-waistband) carry has its perks. An Ruger LCR holster OWB is easy to draw from and can be more comfortable, especially if you’re sitting or moving around a lot. It’s great for the range or cooler days when layers help cover things up.
Shoulder Holsters
Shoulder carry has its fans for good reason. A Ruger LCR shoulder holster is especially handy if you’re in a car a lot or working at a desk. The weight stays off your hips and the gun stays reachable under a jacket or overshirt. It’s an old-school method that still makes sense for certain setups.
Pocket Holsters
This one's about as low profile as it gets. A Ruger LCR pocket holster fits right into your front pocket and keeps the gun upright and ready. It covers the trigger guard and stays put when you draw. Ideal for relaxed clothes, cargo shorts, jeans, or anything with deep pockets.
Ankle Holsters
Ankle carry isn’t for everyone, but for backup or discreet carry, it’s hard to beat. A Ruger LCR ankle holster wraps around your lower leg and keeps the gun out of sight. You won’t win any speed draw contests, but it’s dependable and works well in seated situations.
Paddle Holsters
Want a holster that’s easy to put on and take off? A Ruger LCR paddle holster might be your pick. It slides into place without threading through a belt and still holds firm. Great for trips to the range or when you’re not planning to carry all day.

I carry my LCR 9mm. The moveable holster is versatile feature. Full leather straps are sometimes bulky until broken in. Not this one. First day I wore it I forgot I was carrying a weapon. I dont know how this will work in a larger hand gun (1911) but for small pistols it is excellent. Very well made.
