About Glock 28
Glock Ges.m.b.H., trademarked as Glock is one of the most famous and successful firearm producer, well known all over the world. Engineer Gaston Glock, company's founder who had no experience with firearms manufacture or design, became one of the most successful firearms designer of all times. Glock had extensive experience in advanced synthetic polymers, knowledge of which was very important in the company's design of the first commercially successful line of polymer frame pistols.
The Glock 28 model is a short recoil operated, semi-automatic pistol chambered with .38 ammunition. This gun model was constructed in very similar way to other Glock pistols. In general, it has pretty similar appearance to other models, for instance the frame which is made of polymer.The G28 has no manual safety devices. The only operating element of this pistol is its trigger. All internal pistol safeties are deactivated when the unique trigger is pulled, on the other side, automatically activated when it is released. The Glock Model 28 uses a cartridge that was developed by world-known gun designer.
