OPEN TOP HOLSTER - PANTHER DESCRIPTION

This custom leather holster is designed for outside the waistband carry. The holster shares many features with Panther, the legendary wild cat it was named after. On top of these are quickness of draw, ultra low profile and robust construction. The holster is designed for the 4 o’clock carry position and it is one of the best dominant side holsters on our offer. This OWB holster comes in the pancake style and it features an open-top and open-muzzle design. The entire holster is made of premium Italian leather that is stitched together with high quality German threads. The most important parts of the holster are reinforced by double stitching, which enhances the holster’s durability.

The Panther will fit your gun like a glove. The perfect fit is a result of thermo molding techniques applied in its production. The holster is crafted by the hands of our craftsmen who mold it on the exact replica of your pistol or revolver. This tight, yet very snug fit also results in high retention. Thanks to the open-top design and very favorable cant, you will experience very smooth and quick drawing and reholstering.

The holster is quite robust, yet very easy to conceal, especially compared to other OWB holsters. The Panther is also very stable on one’s belt thanks to the evenly spaced belt slots. The belt slots are 1.5’’ wide and are reinforced with extra stitching for increased durability. An important feature of this pancake holster is also the partial sweat guard it comes with. The sweat guard prevents your gun from sweat and also your skin from abrasion. The Panther holster is available only for right-handed shooters, but you can select from both mahogany and black colors.

Note - By default, the holster is equipped with belt slots that are 1.5'' wide and compatible with 0.15'' thick gun belts.

Thanks to the pancake-style construction, the Open Top Holster -  Panther features a low-profile, slimline pancake design. This makes it one of the best OWB holsters for concealed carry.

HOW TO WEAR THE HOLSTER?

This leather pancake holster is designed for outside the waistband carry, which means you have to mount it on your leather gun belt from the outside. You can easily slip the holster onto your belt thanks to two evenly spaced belt slots (one on either side of the holster). The holster works best when attached to the 3 or 4 o’clock OWB holster belt position.

WHAT CARRY STYLE IS THE HOLSTER GOOD FOR?

WILL THIS HOLSTER REQUIRE LEATHER HOLSTER BREAK-IN?

As this is a thermo-molded OWB leather holster molded on the replica of your handgun, it’s highly unlikely that it will require any break-in work. However, if by any chance your new holster feels a bit too tight at first, simply run it through the leather holster break-in. WHAT IS THE HOLSTER RETENTION LEVEL?

The Open Top Holster - Panther is a Level I retention OWB holster. The holster might not have any Level II or Level III retention devices, but as it’s molded on the replica of your pistol, the holster boasts very high natural retention.

WHAT GUNS IS THE HOLSTER GOOD FOR?

This pancake OWB holster is a great choice for both semi-automatic pistols as well as revolvers. As far as gun size goes, this is a great outside waistband holster for open and concealed carry of handguns of any size. The holster is an ideal choice for full to mid-sized handguns such as the 1911, Beretta 92FS, Glock 17, or SIG P365 XL. Thanks to its low profile and slimline design, this OWB holster can be used for concealed and open carry even for micro-compact handguns such as the Springfield Hellcat, Glock 43, or SIG P365.

WILL THE HOLSTER FIT OTHER GUNS TOO?

As the Open Top Holster - Panther is always molded on the exact replica of the pistol you order it for, it will only fit the selected handgun model. While this holster comes with a unique, glove-like fit for the selected handgun, the holster will fit other guns of the exact same size too. However, we can only guarantee a perfect fit for the handgun it will be made for.
