The Ruger Max-9 is a single-action, striker-fired, semi automatic pistol developed by Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc., an American firearms manufacturer simply known as Ruger. The Ruger Max-9 is a micro-compact handgun with an overall length of 6 inches and a 3.2 inches long barrel. The pistol’s frame is made of black glass filled nylon, the barrel consists of alloy steel, and the slide is made of through-hardened alloy steel. The pistol’s slide features a black oxide finish. Just like in the case of most modern handguns, this Ruger Max 9 features front and rear slide serrations.
