About Kahr CM40
The smallest model in Value Series, the CM Series takes its features from Kahr's ither series (3.6 inch barrel in 9mm, .40 SW and .45 ACP) and incorporates them into a smaller 3 inch barrel package. The weight of this model is just 17.7 oz.Kahr pistols are striker-fired locked-breech designs, relying on a modification of the Browning dropping-barrel system with a lug above the chambe This model has black polymer frame and the bullet capacity is 180 grains. The Kahr's magazines are stainless steel and feature Wolff springs. They are made in the USA, plasma welded together and have a black polymer follower. The magazine catch in the frame is metal, so it won't get damaged by the metal magazine. CM40 is designed for self-defense and has a only three-inch barrel, so it is tested for accuracy at 15 yards. This is probably pushing the distance at which it would be used, even though the sights are good enough to shoot it much farther than that.
