About Kahr P9
The Kahr P9 model as well as the most of the Kahr pistols is semi-automatic, striker-fired, locked-breech design and relying on a modification of its Browning dropping-barrel system with a lug just above the chamber, locking the barrel into the roof of the slide. Like the other mentioned models, the Kahr P9 triggers use a slide-assisted cocking action that removes much of the weight and length of the trigger pull. The result of this construction is that the trigger cannot cock the striker on its own, that is functionally much more like a single-action trigger system. Maximum magazine capacity of the P9 is 7 rounds. The Kahr P 9mm is chambered with 9×19mm ammunition and it is the original model of the P pistol line.

Overall, I'm impressed with the quality, fit, and design of the holster and it exceeded expectation for the reasonable price. I use with Kahr P9 and wanted a nice holster to match the quality of the pistol. The reinforced opening works well for re-holstering, and the leather overall is high quality, comfortable, breaking in well and professionally finished with good quality hardware. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars: Unlike some other nice leather holsters, this has no special inner liner surface, soft treatment, suede, etc. but for function, I'm fine with this for my non-polished CCW gun and the basic leather inner surface on the Craft is really OK. The pistol is also secured at a level I like, not same as Kydex and the definitive detent 'snap' in, but this works well given leather. Communication was very good from company, and I just went on to also order a Kydex one from them as well.
