About Kahr P380
The Kahr P380 model is a semi-automatic, striker-fired locked-breech designs, relying on a modification of its dropping-barrel system with a lug just above the chamber locking the barrel into the roof of its slide. This model’s trigger is designated as double-action, marked the DAO, only by the manufacturer. As the other models mentioned, the Kahr P .380 cal triggers use a slide-assisted cocking action that removes much of the weight and also length of its trigger pull. The result of its design is that its trigger can not cock the striker on its own, construction of which is more like a single-action trigger. Probably the major reason why this round has become so popular is that it’s the largest practical cartridge which can be quite easily adapted to small automatic pocket pistols. The KAhr P380 is a great choice for concealed carry.
