Delivery was faster than expected (Fedex-16 days from date of order). Pros: The holster itself was a good fit for my 5 1/2"Ruger Redhawk . The Roto-Draw feature worked as advertised. It combines the comfort and concealability of vertical carry with the speed and convenience of a horizontal draw . Cons: The holster/belt tie-down strap is almost unworkable. A better idea would be to extend the Velcro strap that secures the tie-down about three inches. That would allow the user to loop it around his belt if desired or fold it up out of the way along the back of the holster. Be cheaper too. The safety strap/thumb break is just a strip of Velcro. It's noisy and un-handy to manipulate. But it can't be dispensed with because that's what holds the holster in the upright position. Much better would be a two piece snap thumb break strap with velcro on the ends to fasten to the holster. The shoulder harness is adequate but noisy. It "squeaks" badly when the wearer moves. This noise is intolerable in a hunting shoulder rig. The noise comes from the points where the nylon straps are fastened to the leather ends. Also, the piece in the middle of the back where the straps cross is bulky, needlessly complex, uncomfortable and hard to conceal. A flat piece of plastic with slots for the straps to go thru would solve all of these problems and be a lot cheaper. (...) holsters have used this idea for decades. The double speed loader pouch is a waste. Unless you have the hand strength of King Kong, the snaps are too difficult to open and close with one hand. And it can't be used for anything else. I removed mine and replaced it with an accessory piece with belt tie down that I salvaged from an Uncle Mike's vertical shoulder holster. This allows me to carry additional gear (knife, flashlight, another holster, etc.). A single speed loader pouch rides on the front right strap down next to the accessory piece. Replacing the double speed loader pouch with an accessory strap and tie down would be cheaper also. Bottom line: unless you're really sold on the Roto-Draw feature and are willing to do a lot of modifications and compromises in order to make this work for you; you'd get better value with an (...) or other quality shoulder rig. I'd like to return the one I got but shipping and restock charges make it not worthwhile.
