Heckler and Koch USP Compact 45 caliber is a semi-automatic pistol developed in Germany in 1994. This small frame "universal self-loading pistol" is capable of firing the most powerful cartridges in .45 ACP .One of the remarkable features of the HK USP Compact 45 is the possibility of a wide selection of the interchangeable trigger styles. The modular concept of the internal components of The USP 45 Compact and the control functions allows switching from the left to the right-handed version of the pistol. It is also possible to convert trigger/firing mode to another including a combination of a double-action, single-action (DA/SA) and double-action only (DAO) modes. The H&K; USP45 Compct represents a scaled lighter version of the original. As the frame size is smaller, magazines may have a handgrip extension to better fit the shooter's hand. The overall length of The HEckler Koch USP Compact 45 firearm is 6.8 inches, barrel length is 3.58/ 3.80 inches. It has an ambidextrous magazine release lever, which is shielded by the trigger guard from inadvertent actuation.The H&K; USP cal 45 features a frame-mounted safety, which is easier to manipulate quickly than a slide-mounted safety. The Compact standardly comes with a bobbed hammer with a rubber external thumb grip. The HK USP Compact 45 contains a highly visible sight with three white dots in the modern fashion.The USP45 Compacts were designed to satisfy demanding needs of the law enforcement and military forces, but are more and more popular by the non-professional shooters.
