The Springfield 911 - 2.7’’ is a single-action, recoil-operated semi-automatic pistol developed by Springfield Armory, Inc., one of the best known gun manufacturers in the world. Just like its name suggests, the design of the Springfield 911 - 2.7’’ is based on the famous M1911 pistols. This model was introduced only very recently and, mainly due to its compactness, it’s quickly become one of the most popular everyday concealed carry options. The Springfield 911 - 2.7’’ features a 2.7’’ long barrel and the pistol is chambered in the .380 ACP cartridge. The Springfield 911 - 2.7’’ comes with a single stack magazine that can be loaded with up to 7 rounds of ammo, which is a sufficient number when it comes to personal defense for which this pistol is mainly meant for. The frame of this pistol is made of black anodized aluminum and it comes with custom G10 grips. The accuracy and target acquisition is enhanced by the tritium night sights. Although the stopping power of the Springfield 911 - 2.7’’ isn’t that stellar (mainly due to the weaker caliber), this pistol is an ideal EDC option.
