About Ruger P95

The company known all over the world as the Ruger, with the official name of The Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. is the leading producer of firearms in the whole United States. The Sturm, Ruger designs, produces and markets a full line of various models of pistols, revolvers, rifles, and shotguns, mainly for sporting purposes, however there is also several models available for the law enforcement and military use.

The Ruger P95 is a semi-automatic pistol which was introduced with a fiberglass reinforced polymer frame to the P Series pistol design. Its barrel, slide and action are the same as other models. In 2006 the optional Picatinny rail became standard. Its cartridge was introduced together with the Luger semi-automatic pistol. The Ruger P95 was introduced in 1996 and the P95 incorporated a number of changes from the previous P-Series pistols, with a shorter 3.9 inch barrel length and also a new frame which is made of fiberglass-reinforced polyurethane, based on Dow Chemical's "Isoplast". It reduced its weight by 4 ounces and also reduced manufacturing costs. In 2005 was introduced the P95PR which incorporates a Picatinny rail into the frame and adds a new non-slip texturing in the polymer frame. This new model replaced the original P95 in production. The Ruger P95 was quietly discontinued in October 2013 and removed from the Ruger's website catalog. Maximum magazine capacity of the P95 is 15 rounds what is an average amount compared to other pistols of the same caliber.

What makes a great Leather Ruger P95 Holster?

A perfect  Ruger [  Leather  holster holds your firearm without the need of a retention strap. The natural retention of each material takes care of it and you can even hold the scabbard upside down without the firearm falling of. Or you can rely on the retention strap which can have several levels of retention. Another treat of a great  Ruger ' Leather  gunholster are smooth edges on the outside. This way the holster stays protected from abrasions, scratches or any other intrusive surfaces that it may stumble upon. A perfect finish of a Ruger P  holster is another feature. A finished holster keeps dust, moisture and water away. Taking care of your holster is a important thing and there are many options including break-in or adjustment.
