The Ed Brown EVO CCO9 LW belongs to Ed Brown’s EVO family of 1911 handguns, which was introduced back in 2018 to celebrate the company’s 50th year in business. The Ed Brown EVO CCO9 Lightweight is an Officer-sized Compact 1911 pistol with an overall length of 7.5 inches and 4 inches long barrel.
Just like other EVO pistols, the Ed Brown EVO-CCO9 is chambered for the popular 9x19mm Parabellum cartridge. The pistol features a single-stack magazine that takes in 8 rounds of this caliber. Just like its name suggests, the Ed Brown EVO-CCO9 Lightweight features a lightweight slide, thinned substantially for weight reduction.
