About Kimber Solo Carry
The micro-compact Kimber Solo is a diversion from the manufacturer's 1911 style pistols. Like its bigger 1911 siblings the Solo sports a machined aluminum frame, a similar grip angle, side panels and magazine release, and an ambidextrous thumb safety. But, that's where the similarities end. The Solo employs a striker style firing system with a Glock-style single-action (SA) trigger. The slide and barrel cut from stainless steel. To aid in concealed carry the gun is given melt-down style rounded and blended edges. The length of this model is 5.5-in with 2.7-in barrel.There are different variants of this pistol with different grips available: black synthetic, custom rosewood and Crimson Trace Lasergrips.
