About Kimber Solo Carry
The Kimber Manufacturing is one of the most successful American firearm producer that is specializing in manufacturing, design and also distribution of various small arms such as the Solo pistols, M1911 pistols and rifles. The Kimber company has been producing firearms since the 1979, when this company was known as “Kimber of Oregon” and focused in accurate .22 rifles.
The micro-compact Kimber Solo is a diversion from the manufacturer's 1911 style pistols. Like its bigger 1911 siblings the Solo sports a machined aluminum frame, a similar grip angle, side panels and magazine release, and an ambidextrous thumb safety. But, that's where the similarities end. The Solo employs a striker style firing system with a Glock-style single-action (SA) trigger. The slide and barrel cut from stainless steel. To aid in concealed carry the gun is given melt-down style rounded and blended edges. The length of this model is 5.5-in with 2.7-in barrel. There are different variants of this pistol with different grips available: black synthetic, custom rosewood and Crimson Trace Lasergrips.

What Makes a Great Leather Kimber Solo Carry Holster
A perfect Kimber Solo Carry Leather holster holds your firearm without the need of a retention strap. The natural retention of each material takes care of it and you can even hold the scabbard upside down without the firearm falling of. Or you can rely on the retention strap which can have several levels of retention. Another treat of a great Kimber Solo 9mm Leather gunholster are smooth edges on the outside. This way the holster stays protected from abrasions, scratches or any other intrusive surfaces that it may stumble upon. A perfect finish of a Kimber Solo Carry holster is another feature. A finished holster keeps dust, moisture and water away. Taking care of your holster is a important thing and there are many options including break-in or adjustment.
