About Kimber Custom II - 5"
The Custom II series incorporates the Kimber Firing Pin Safety. It is patterned after the Colt Government Model 1911. This model is 8.7-in long with 5 in barrel, chambered in .45 Auto caliber. It offers various finishes, 7 shot mag., forged steel frame, match grade barrel, bushing and trigger group, dovetail mounted sights, frame machined from steel forging, high ride beavertail grip safety, There are twenty one Custom II models in four calibers. Slides and frames are mated in the early stages of production and travel through the balance together, ensuring optimum fitting of every part. There are 4 different variants of this model available. Variant 1 with matte black steel frame, black synthetic grip and fixed low profile sights. Variant 2 with fixed tritium 3-dot night sights. Variant 3 with matte black steel frame, walnut double diamond grip and fixed low profile sights. The last one stainless steel frame, walnut double diamond grip, fixed low profile sights and two-tone finish.
