The design surprised me with the thick leather overlay on the holster. Not sure what that accomplishes except as a "holder" if one wants to remove the holster. (baffled as to why). The holster leather is thick and quite hard, and not a perfect fit to the pistol like Bianchi or others. The manufacturer expects the buyer to do the final fit, which quickly becomes a laborious, lengthy, and messy task. The wide back strap wrefuses to lay flat, and it becomes uncomfortable quickly. Bottom line: It is here, I own it, and will use it, but will keep a looking for its replacement.
