How to choose the best holster for your Sig Sauer P250

Start with comfort. If it digs into your side or flops around when you walk, you won’t wear it. Look for a Sig Sauer P250 holster made specifically for this model. The shape matters. A good fit keeps your draw smooth and your carry secure. Next, think about how you carry day-to-day. Will it be under a t-shirt? On duty? Left-handed? Small differences in design make a big difference once you put it on for hours at a time. Material counts, too. Leather molds to your body over time, while Kydex holds its shape and clicks into place. Some folks prefer hybrids that mix soft backers with rigid shells. No one-size-fits-all here, just what fits you best.

Best Sig Sauer P250 IWB Holster

IWB Holster w Steel Clip – $89. This leather holster can be carried both IWB and appendix style, offering flexibility in how you choose to carry your Sig Sauer P250. The steel clip design is perfect for those who dislike removing their belt when attaching or detaching the holster. It also features a reinforced thumb break strap, adding extra durability and increasing the holster’s natural retention, making it a highly secure option.

Best Sig Sauer P250 OWB Holster

Open Top Belt Holster – $89.  The Open Top Belt Holster is an excellent choice for those seeking easy access and a quick draw. Its pancake design provides a slim, low-profile fit, ensuring that your Sig Sauer P250 remains concealed even in an OWB carry position. This holster is not only practical but also extremely comfortable for daily wear.

Best Sig Sauer P250 Shoulder Holster

Shoulder Holster System – $215. For shoulder holster fans, the Shoulder Holster System is the best option for the Sig Sauer P250. This leather shoulder system allows you to carry your gun in a horizontal position, secured with a thumb break strap for added safety. The system includes a double ammo holder and tie-down straps that attach to your belt, offering excellent balance and security. As a bonus, the holster can also be used as a regular belt holster, giving you two carry options in one.

Carry Options for Sig Sauer P250 holsters

Concealed Carry

Concealing the P250 isn’t hard if you pick the right setup. A Sig Sauer P250 9mm concealed carry holster should sit tight against the body and disappear under clothes without shifting. The waistband is your go-to spot, but comfort and access still matter. A solid Sig Sauer P250 holster concealed carry setup should let you sit, drive, and move around without thinking about it. You want it to stay put but not press so hard you’re always adjusting.

IWB Holsters

Inside-the-waistband holsters are popular for a reason. They tuck in close and keep things low-profile. A good Sig Sauer P250 IWB holster will have a slim build and adjustable ride height so you can get the angle just right. Some have sweat guards that keep metal off your skin, which really helps in warm weather.

OWB Holsters

Outside-the-waistband works when you have a jacket or don’t need to be subtle. A Sig Sauer P250 OWB holster makes for an easy draw and balanced feel on the belt. Look for one that rides high and hugs the body to reduce printing. Great option if you’re at the range or out in the woods.

Shoulder Holsters

This setup shines when sitting a lot or layering up. Think road trips or winter coats. A Sig Sauer P250 shoulder holster spreads the weight and keeps your waist free. Just make sure it adjusts well so the gun doesn’t bounce or hang weirdly.

holsters with light

If you’ve got a light on your P250, you already know most holsters won’t cut it. You need one shaped to handle the extra bulk without snagging. A Sig Sauer P250 holster with light should keep both the firearm and the light snug, so nothing shifts during the draw. It’s especially important if you carry in low-light environments or rely on that attachment.

left hand holsters

Lefties deserve better options than flipping a right-hand rig and calling it good. A true Sig Sauer P250 left hand holster mirrors the fit and function, giving you proper grip access and trigger coverage. Whether you carry IWB, OWB, or shoulder, make sure the design works with your draw side naturally.

paddle holsters

Need something quick to put on and take off? Paddle holsters are built for that. A Sig Sauer P250 paddle holster slips inside your waistband but hooks against the belt with a wide backing. Great for those who switch setups often or can’t always wear a belt. Just make sure the paddle grips tight enough so it doesn’t come out when you draw.

duty holsters

Duty carry changes the game. Retention, durability, and secure mounting are top priorities. A Sig Sauer P250 duty holster should lock in place, protect the trigger, and survive daily wear. Think police, security, or open carry where staying put under stress matters more than fast access. It needs to be ready when things get hectic.

Summary

The right Sig Sauer P250 holster depends on how you carry and what matters most in your day. If you're working long shifts, a duty holster keeps things secure and accessible. For quick errands or changing setups, a paddle holster is easy to grab and go. Left-handed users need a true left hand design, not a workaround. If you’re running a light, make sure the holster holds both gun and light steady without wobble. Concealed carry needs a rig that disappears under clothes and stays comfortable for hours. Whether you go IWB, OWB, or shoulder, the holster should work with your lifestyle. A good Sig Sauer P250 holster keeps things simple and secure so you can carry with confidence.

Once again Craft Holsters did a fantastic job. Quality leather and hardware. Once broken in there are no issues with either the holster or mag pouch. Due to the thickness of the leather xtra break-in was required on the holster retaining strap. It was a struggle to secure the weapon in the holster so all I did was to hang the unit with a full mag pouch from the retaining strap to stretch it to slove the problem.

Nice workmanship good holster but trigger guard did not fit. Most likely because they change the configuration of the model over the years. Was able to take thread out of inside seam and make enough room then soften with denatured alcohol. Retied inside seam to itself. Not super happy, but not their fault. Maybe should have a better way to fit like a measurable image of your gun.

This is a joke. Received 2 holsters, one for Sig 250 and the other for CZ 75. Both so rigid that guns would not fit. Have holster on order for Walther P-38 and regret placing order.
