About Kimber Two Tone - 3"
The Kimber Manufacturing is one of the most successful American firearm producer that is specializing in manufacturing, design and also distribution of various small arms such as the Solo pistols, M1911 pistols and rifles. The Kimber company has been producing firearms since the 1979, when this company was known as “Kimber of Oregon” and focused in accurate .22 rifles.
Kimber Two Tone is a group of three weapons in a two-color classic design. The finish is made of carbon steel with matt blackening, the frame has a matt satin finish. This design is complemented by rosewood ripples about half the area roughened by checkering. The weapons are offered in two calibers - 9 mm Luger and .45 ACP with three and the breech and two dimensions of the body (frame) of the weapon with different magazine capacity. 3 "barrel has a magazine capacity reduced by one round due to the smaller dimensions of the body of the weapon optimized for concealed carrying. The weapon frame is made of high-quality aluminum alloy. All Aluminum frames were subjected to a demanding shooting test, which confirmed their high quality, durability and longevity - after 20,000 rounds, they showed no wear. The length of this model is 6.8-in with 3-in barrel. Despite its smaller size, a 7-round magazine is standard. This model is ideal for concealed carry or as a backup service weapon. The weight concentrated in the front of the weapon contributes to the low value of its recoil and stroke.
