I tried a shoulder holster in the past and didnt like it. However I like this holster, its comforatble and fairly concealable with a large gun I do like the fact the weight is on my shoulders and not my waist. Guns so heavy it pulls my pants down

My holster is for a Beretta M9A4. Very difficult to find a real holster for this gun. When I received the holster it just pretty much pissed me off. The gun did not fit and the strap was a mile from closing. So when I finally had a warm day I took it to the garage and doused it with denatured alcohol (sort of per break in instructions). I worked it and dumped more alcohol on it and worked it until I could get the gun to fit in. Then I put the strap in a vice and went all Tasmanian Devil on it to stretch it. At this point I didn't care, I was just pissed off and trying to tear it a new one made me happy. I don't recommend this procedure to anyone no matter how hairy you are. After lifting most of the bench off the floor and moving it around I re-tried the strap and it closed. So I left the gun in the holster to air overnight. The next day I brought it in and worked some Hubert's Shoe Grease into the leather. The instructions I've seen online say NOT to do this. So just don't there Nancy. My thought was that I just put desiccating alcohol all over this thing and it could use a little conditioning love. yomv. At this point the M9A4 with its picatinny rail fits nicely in the holster. And as an extra bonus, my CZ Shadow 2 fits too. I am just really surprised frankly. I'm still irritated that the gun did not fit upon arrival and I feel that this is just a knockoff of a Galco. Whatever. Instead of having a piece of junk relegated to target practice I actually have a holster that fits two of my (difficult to find holster for) guns. Some days just go right despite Murphy's efforts.
