The Glock 22 - Gen 5 is a striker-fired, single-action, semi automatic pistol developed by Glock Ges.m.b.H, a famous firearms manufacturer from Austria. The original Glock 22 was first introduced to the market back in 1990. The Glock 22 - Gen 5 belongs to the Glock 22 family of pistols. Just like any other popular Glock pistol, the Glock 22 - Gen 5 is also fully made of polymer. The pistol comes with a double stack magazine that can be loaded with up to 16 rounds of the .40 S&W cartridge. The capacity of this pistol can be further extended up to 22+1 rounds of ammo. The Glock 22 - Gen 5 is a full-size service handgun that can also be used for competition and tactical use. The pistol’s overall length is mere 7.95 inches, which means it’s probably not the best everyday carry option.
