About Para Ordnance P13
Para Ordnance P13 is a semi-automatic, recoil-operated pistol designed and manufactured by Para-Ordnance, a Canadian firearms manufacturer. The P13 is chambered in .45 ACP and features a 13-round magazine capacity, hence the name "P13". The pistol has a double-stack magazine and is based on the 1911 design, but with several modifications and improvements. The overall length of the pistol is 7.75’’ and the barrel has 4.25’’.
The P13 has a stainless steel frame and slide, and features a single-action trigger with a frame-mounted safety. It also has a match-grade barrel, adjustable rear sights, and a ramped front sight. Overall, the Para Ordnance P13 is a reliable and accurate pistol, suitable for self-defense, target shooting, and law enforcement applications. However, it is no longer in production as Para-Ordnance was acquired by Remington in 2012, and the P13 has since been discontinued.
