About Para Ordnance Elite - 5"
Full-size 1911 style pistol with a 5-inch barrel and a single-stack design, accepts eight-round magazines. Features a two-dot rear sight and a green fiber-optic front, cocobolo grips and skeletonized match-grade single action trigger. This recoil operated semi-automatic chambered in .45 Auto caliber was made in 2013 – 2015. The 45 Automatic is the most powerful military handgun cartridge in use today. This is a heavy and powerful sub-sonic round. Although its muzzle energy can exceed 400 ft-lbs, its velocity and bullet weight creates a steep trajectory curve that limits its effective range to self-defense distances. This model features grip safety, manual thumb safety, 8-round magazine, black stainless steel frame and Black IonBond finish also available a model with natural stainless slide .The length of this pistol is 8.625-in.
