The Manurhin MR73 Sport is an exclusive double/single-action revolver manufactured by Chapuis Armes in their d. Armes de tir Chapuis facility located in Saint Bonnet Le Château (France). This exquisite 6-shot revolver is currently distributed mainly by Beretta Australia. The Manurhin MR73 Sport belongs to the Manurhin MR73 family of revolvers, which were developed specifically for the requirements of the French Gendarmerie and special service units of the French Police and Military.
The revolver’s overall length is 10.39 inches and it features a 5.25’’ long barrel. The Manurhin MR 73 Sport is available in two variants, one chambered for the .38 Special, the other for the .357 Magnum cartridge. The revolver sports a 6-shot cylinder and it’s specifically designed for a high level competition and bullseye shooting. Among the features rendering it one of the best sport shooting revolvers are the adjustable target sights, target adjustable trigger and ergonomic grips.

Purchased for a 5.25" revolver. Holster is just ok. The leather is stiff, the molding is a little underwhelming. There is excess material that could have been trimmed away. Overall adequate but not elegant.

Got my holster almost 4 weeks earlier than told - great! I ordered a small of back holster for my Manurhin 5 ¼" revolver. It fitted ideally from the beginning without any break in, is absolutely well made with good leather on my first view. The pulls and reholstering is fast and comfortable, and with under a jacket it seems to allow some semi-concealed carry, which is astonishingly for the size of my revolver. So I am very satisfied with my new holster, at least as the prize was very fair as well. Good work, thank you! Georg

This was the only holster company I could find that makes a holster specifically for the MR 73. I’m just crazy enough to IWB a 5.25” version. The holster certainly is not cheap, and in my case it had to be custom made, but the price and the wait are worth it. The holster was a perfect fit right out of the box. Still, I did use the break in kit just in case. If you’re here looking for a high quality holster, you will not be disappointed.
