About Glock 17 Gen 5
The Glock 17 Gen 5 is a product from the Gen 5 series that was introduced in 2017. The updates of the new generation centered around a nDLC finish on the barrel and slide, an ambidextrous slide stop lever, a flared magwell, removal of the finger grooves and a GLOCK Marksman barrel. The parts of the G17 Gen 5, as well as of other Glocks can be interchanged between each other. Glock made these changes in order to satisfy both left and right handed shooters. The new Glock 17 Gen-5 is available and ready to be used for daily carry or concealed carry.

I was suprised, it fits & works great

When ordering, I made clear that I needed the holster for a Glock G17 handgun WITH AN OPTIC. The holster I received DOES not accept my G17 with an optic. After inserting the handgun in the holster the trigger remains exposed. Just barely. But enough to be in unsafe. If I force it in, the slide gets pushed back. Sadly, I should have been warned that this holster will NOT accept an optic on a G17.

I just received my new CRAFT HOLSTER and it fits very comfortably. The one thing I will have to get changed is the stupid drop down magazine holder next month, I'll again contact Craft
