As police officers and hunters will attest, this firearm is made to withstand heavy use. 2015 NRA Golden Bullseye Award for "Handgun of the Year" from Shooting Illustrated magazine. I like the holster..it's well made..sturdy..functional. With gun seated, thumb break snapped closed, the bottom of the holster extends about 3/8" beyond muzzle. For an IWB trying to conceal a S&W 69 with a 2.75" barrell, I would prefer it flush, or no more than an 1/8" beyond. It would be better suited for a 3" barrell.

I couldn’t be more pleased with my cross-draw holster (best waistband orientation ever) for my Model 69 Combat Magnum 3” - the leather is supple and perfectly formed. I highly recommend their products over Galco (ripoff) and their competitors!!

Fit and finish of the holster is quite good. It is better applied to an open carry situation and not the concealment role I had hoped for. The holster does not hug to the body well and tends to pull to the front. Also the finger break tends to trap the gun, fouling up any speed draw. Don't bother embossing your initials. It's a painted on gold that looks really cheap. Overall, I expected better for what I paid.
