First I want to say I have previously purchased a holster from Craft Holsters and was very pleased. I ordered this paddle holster and was a bit surprised. Although the quality is good, I found that the inside edges of the leather all had a lip curling in towards the inside. This lip was quite harsh rubbing against the gun. In leather work it is commonplace to cut the edges to round them off. The previous holster I received this was done, no sharp edges. Since I do not have leather craft tools, I had to use a very sharp knife to cut and round the edges. I didn't expect this from Craft Holsters and I was a bit discouraged at having to do this myself. Simply it wasn't the same quality finish as my previous purchase. Another disappointing fact was the paddle. When set at the uppermost position, (there are 6 positions allowing the holster to ride lower or higher and or use wider sized belts), the paddle connection caused the bottom of the holster to angle away from your body to a ridiculous degree. I wear a 2 inch belt and positions 1-4 caused the holster to pitch out at the bottom away from the body. No way to carry properly. I found to eliminate this I had to set the gripping studs one notch from the bottom of the paddle to make the holster usable (5 notches down). This would usually only be done with very wide belts, over 2 inches in width like tactical gear. To eliminate the need to do this your belt would have to be very thin in thickness like a simple dress belt 1 inch wide, not suggested for carrying a weapon. Im not sure even that would solve the problem. I wear a 2 inch belt made for carrying a weapon. Once I moved the locking screws to the next to the lowest position, the holster now sits properly, however the belt rides a good two inches below the bottom of the base of the paddle. This worked for me. The fit of the gun is fine, the quality good with the only issues being as I stated. Once the adjustments I mentioned were completed all was good. Be sure to cinch your belt snugly.
