The Smith & Wesson Model 686 6'' is a Double-action revolver chambered for the .357 Magnum that belongs to the L-Frame family. It has been produced first in 1980. It has stainless steel frame and rubber grips. The sights in the front are red ramp and the sights in the back are adjustable white outline sights. The 686 has a revolving chamber and no manual safety.

Just received my holster and so far I have no complaints. Broke it in using the bag method. Slides in and out no problem. Plenty of adjustments for fitting. Feels well constructed. I was worried about the roto action making it too bulky or not functioning correctly. but it’s just fine. 6” barrel is a hard conceal, doesn’t print with a loose button up shirt. Stays in place. Couldn’t be happier.

Honestly I was a bit disappointed in this holster. Other holsters I have purchased from Craft Holsters have been 5 stars. I ordered this for a S&W 686 6" and the fit is so loose I am afraid to use it as the pistol can freely fall out. No mater how tight I screw the retention screw. It's bottomed out and there's no grip on the trigger guard. I am going to send it back and let them retry it once. If they make it right I'll update this review.
