About Smith & Wesson Model 625 - 4"
The S&W; Model 625 4'' is a revolver from the N-framed line of Smith & Wesson. The frame of this model is made out of metal providing a sturdy foundation for the N-frame representative. But S&W; felt that a stronger system would be required with the powerful cartridges they intended to use, so additional locking was provided by a bolt housed in the ejector rod shroud that locked into a mortise on the cylinder yoke. S&W; also introduced a new cartridge that was to become as famous, if not more so, than the revolver itself.

This is a sturdy, well-made holster at a very good price. The S&W Model 625 is a heavy, N-Frame Revolver, even without 6 rounds of .45 ACP in it. The design holds it close to your body, and with a sturdy belt it is concealable under a light jscket of sweatshirt. I have purchased several Craft holsters, and I am very pleased with all of them. If you've been looking for leather accessories for your pistol, shotgun or rifle weapon of choice, you've quickly determined there's not a lot out in the brick and mortar stores or the internet. Over the last few years, I'd been looking for a leather shoulder holster for my S&W M625 45cal revolver and wasn't having any luck. I thought I'd give the web one more try and I'm glad I did. The Craftholsters website had exactly what I was looking for (nice internal search engine with user friendly filter options). I found what I wanted within 5 minutes. The process was easy and professional (needed to provide some basic body measurements for holster strap lengths). The interaction with the customer service rep was easy and pleasant. Within 30 days, I had a custom made holster system made from high grade leather that looks, feels and wears like a charm. I'd order from this site anytime without reservations.

Its a nice quality holster. It is a bit hard to get to snap back in place but im assured it will become easier once broken in. Definitely wont be able to get a thick 1 1/2" belt through the loop but a standard one is fine. I would have given it a five star but I was hoping the holster itself was a bit more square like in the photo.
