About Grand Power K100
The GRAND POWER is European gun manufacturer located in Slovenská Ľupča, in Slovakia. A former weapon officer Jaroslav Kuracina established the firm in 2003. He got the interest and passions for guns due to an influence of his grandfather, who was a partisan during the WWII. Granddad was also a hunter and used to take his grandchild to a shooting range.
The K100 is a semi-automatic gun manufactured by Grand Power s.r.o in Slovakia. A weapon constructor Jaroslav Kuracina developed a design of the pistol between years (1994-1996). The name of the gun refers to the initial of the designer and his actual weight of 100 kg. The Grand Power K-100 is both single and double-action semi-automatic, designed to satisfy the requirements of the sport shooters in practical shooting as well as of professionals in military forces. The measurements of the gun are 4.3” of the barrel length, with the total length of 7.97”. The Grand Power K 100 uses a rare locking system that employs a rotating barrel for a high accuracy. The K100 features a manual safety mechanism and optionally a decoking hammer system is available on some variants.
