About FN FNP 9
The company Fabrique Nationale d'Herstal (French for: National Factory of Herstal) that self identifies as FN Herstal is a leading firearms producer located in Herstal, Belgium. This Belgian company, the FN, is the parent company of two US entities: FNH USA and FN Manufacturing and. The FN Manufacturing is located in Columbia and South Carolina.
The FN FNP - 9 is a double-action only, recoil-operated semi-automatic pistol. This handgun was developed by FN Five-Seven, a well-known Belgian manufacturer of semi-auto pistols. It was introduced back in 2006 and its production lasted until 2011, but it’s still a popular pistol. Just like many other Five-seveN pistols, the frame of this model is also made of black polymer and it’s equipped with interchangeable backstrap grips. The FN FNP - 9 comes with a 4’’ long barrel and the pistol relies on the use of the popular 9x19mm Parabellum cartridge. The magazine of this pistol is a double stack which can be loaded up with up to very impressive 15 rounds of ammo. The FN FNP - 9 is quite a good everyday concealed carry weapon as it’s not too big, but it’s effective enough to make a great personal and home defense as well as service weapon.
