About Canik TP9
The Canik TP9 is a double/single-action, striker-fired, semi automatic pistol developed by Century International Arms. The pistol belongs to a popular Canik branch of pistols, all of which are based on the design of the famous Walther P99. This pistol is produced in Canik, a region in Turkey after which the pistol got its name. The Canik TP9 was first introduced in 2012 and its production lasted until 2014. This model is considered a mid-sized handgun. Its overall length is 7.16 inches and the pistol’s barrel is 4.1 inches long. The Canik TP9 comes with a double stack magazine that can be fed with up to 18 rounds of ammo. Just like the name suggests, the pistol relies on the use of the 9x19mm Parabellum cartridge. The Canik TP9 features a black-chrome-lined cold-forged barrel, an ambidextrous slide-top-mounted decock button, click adjustable 3-dot sights, a cocking indicator, front accessory rail and interchangeable backstraps. The pistol also comes with a Glock-style safety. Its dimensions and high capacity make the Canik TP9 an ideal choice for everyday concealed carry, recreational shooting, and service use.
