About Bersa Thunder 22
The Bersa is an Argentine gun manufacturer that was established in the mid-1950s. The first pistol that was produced by them was called “Luan” and it was a modified version of the Ballester handgun. It was produced only in few pieces, with no big commercial success; but it has become a rare and collectable model nowadays. Bersa introduced semi-automatic named “Modelo 60”, followed later on by the “Model 62”, both based on a different design, which were selling very well.
The Bersa Thunder 22 is a semi-automatic double action pistol chambered in .22 LR This pistol features a safety catch on the left of the slide that is blocking the firing pin and decocks the hammer. Bersa Thunder .223 has the barrel length of 3.5”. The total length of the gun is 6.5” The Bersa Thunder22 features a recoil locking system and is available in blued, mat-nickel or mixed finish with a blued frame and a polished slide with black grips made of synthetic material.Some of the weapon’s remarkable features include low recoil, accuracy, and endurance. The Thunder 22 is popularly used among recreational shooters in the U.S, making frequent practice reasonably priced. There is also a thicker and longer-barrel version of this gun model available, used more by professional shooters.
