About STI 1911 (w Rail) - 3"
The STI 1911 with rail 3 inch barrel is available in three versions: a stainless steel frame with blued slide, a blued version and a totally stainless steel model. Unlike the later models, the older one do not have extra pressure grooves in the front slide. This STI 1911 has an extended ambidextrous safety catch, an extended slide catch and magazine release on the left hand side of the frame. The alloy speed trigger has an adjustable trigger stop. The grip safety is extended into a beavertail and this weapon has also a special combat hammer. This model also has micrometer sights with an interchangeable front sight in a dovetail seating in the slide.
