About Remington 1911 R1 Enhanced - 5"
This recoil operated semi-automatic pistol manufactured in their Ilion, New York plant and marketed under the Remington brand E-RPC, this gun is precision made, based on the classic 1911 design. Remington logo on left side of slide, and 1911 R1 on right side of slide. The R1 comes with a Series 80-style internal firing pin safety. This model is chambered in .45 Auto caliber. It features single-action trigger, grip safety, manual thumb safety, 8-round magazine, wood laminate grip, fiber-optic front sight, There are 2 variants of this model available. One with black oxide finish steel and black oxide finish barrel, the second one with stainless steel frame and stainless steel slide.
