The Kimber Rapide (DN, NS) is a single-action, recoil-operated semi-automatic pistol developed by the Kimber Manufacturing, a very popular American manufacturer of handguns and other firearms. The Kimber Rapide (DN, NS) is a full size pistol, the design of which is based on the famous 1911 semi-auto pistols. The frame of the Kimber Rapide (DN, NS) is made of satin stainless steel, which makes the pistol look a bit more luxurious, but extremely durable at the same time. The grips of this pistol are made of Black Rapide G10. The Kimber Rapide (DN, NS) features a full-sized 5’’ barrel and the pistol can be chambered in by 2 different calibers - the 10mm and probably the most popular 1911 caliber, the .45 ACP. The Kimber Rapide (DN, NS) comes with a single stack magazine that can be loaded with up to 8 rounds of ammo. By default the pistol also comes with the popular Truglo TFX Pro Day/Night sights, which further enhances the pistol’s accuracy and target acquisition. Due to its size, the Kimber Rapide (DN, NS) probably isn’t the best concealed carry option, but it’s a great competitive shooting handgun and one of the best home-defense guns out there.

I chose a cross draw holster because it will make carrying a full size 1911 much easier. It's much more comfortable sitting and driving, It does take more break in time, but it'll be well worth it! Most of my other pistols are compact and easier to conceal, plus I use Kydex holsters for them! This is a top of the line, custom .45 1911 by Kimber and I chose this holster to pair it with!!
