About Heckler & Koch HK45
Heckler & Koch is a German company that manufactures handguns, military rifles, submachine guns, and grenade launchers. It’s story began after WW II. when the former designers of Mauser pistols started a machine tool plant in the former arms factory. They had responded to the need of the West German Bundeswehr in 1956 and their need of firearms and built the G3 rifle, which was based on the design of the Spanish CETME rifle.
The HK45 was designed to meet requirements set forth in the U.S. Military Joint Combat Pistol program which had the purpose of arming the U.S. Military with a .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol instead of the 9mm pistol. The HK 45 represents an evolutionary advancement of the Heckler & Koch designs. The HK-45 is a full size model pistol, but significant effort went towards making it more ergonomic than other models chambered in .45 ACP by incorporating features found on smaller Heckler & Koch firearms. These include an extended slide release, a textured ergonomic grip with finger grooves, and interchangeable backstraps to fit differently sized hands. In order to accommodate the smaller, more ergonomic grip, the H&K; 45 has a magazine capacity of 10 rounds versus 12 rounds of the USP. The Heckler Koch 45 also added grip serrations on the front end of the slide, a Picatinny rail in front of the trigger guard for mounting accessories, and an O-ring polygonal barrel for increased accuracy.

What Makes a Great Cross Draw Heckler & Koch HK45 Holster
A perfect HK45 Cross Draw holster holds your firearm without the need of a retention strap. The natural retention of each material takes care of it and you can even hold the scabbard upside down without the firearm falling of. Or you can rely on the retention strap which can have several levels of retention. Another treat of a great HK45 Cross Draw gunholster are smooth edges on the outside. This way the holster stays protected from abrasions, scratches or any other intrusive surfaces that it may stumble upon. A perfect finish of a HK45 holster is another feature. A finished holster keeps dust, moisture and water away. Taking care of your holster is a important thing and there are many options including break-in or adjustment.
