Holsters for Walther PPK
How to choose the best holster for your Walther PPK
Choosing the best Walther PPK holster depends on your daily carry needs, draw preference, and lifestyle. Look for secure retention, comfort against the body, and ease of access. Whether you own a classic Walther PPK or a Walther PPK 380, the holster must accommodate the firearm's compact frame while ensuring stable carry. Materials like leather or polymer each provide distinct advantages depending on your environment and carry position. A quality Walther PPK gun holster offers a balance of concealment, accessibility, and durability.

It also features a reinforced thumb break strap, adding extra durability and increasing the holster’s natural retention, making it a highly secure option.
Best Walther PPK OWB Holster
Open Top Belt Holster – $89. The Open Top Belt Holster is an excellent choice for those seeking easy access and a quick draw. Its pancake design provides a slim, low-profile fit, ensuring that your Walther PPK remains concealed even in an OWB carry position. This holster is not only practical but also extremely comfortable for daily wear.
Best Walther PPK Shoulder Holster

As a bonus, the holster can also be used as a regular belt holster, giving you two carry options in one.
Carry Options for Walther PPK holsters
Concealed Carry
A Walther PPK concealed carry holster must provide minimal printing and reliable retention. Due to its compact design, the PPK is well-suited for discrete carry options that prioritize comfort and quick access in close-contact scenarios.
IWB Holsters
A Walther PPK IWB holster offers excellent concealment by sitting inside the waistband, close to the body. These holsters keep the firearm hidden under most clothing, making them a top choice for everyday carry. Look for adjustable cant and retention to match your draw style. The slim profile of the Walther PPK ensures a snug fit without discomfort during extended wear.
OWB Holsters
A Walther PPK holster in OWB style can still be concealed with a jacket or overshirt, especially when paired with a high-ride pancake design. These are practical for range days or open carry where accessibility is key.
Shoulder Holsters
A Walther PPK shoulder holster distributes weight across the shoulders, making it suitable for seated positions or long-duration wear. This carry method is historically linked with law enforcement and military use, giving it a functional, classic appeal. The horizontal draw allows for discreet access under a jacket or coat.
Ankle Holsters
The Walther PPK ankle holster is a discreet way to carry the Walther PPK, particularly for backup or secondary use. Their low-profile design keeps the firearm secure and concealed at the ankle, making them ideal for professional use or deep concealment.
Pocket Holsters
A Walther PPK pocket holster offers quick access while keeping the firearm upright and protected from debris. This is a viable option for deep concealment in pants or jacket pockets.
Paddle Holsters
A paddle holster for Walther PPK combines the ease of quick attachment with the stability of a full-sized OWB rig. The paddle design allows you to put on or remove the holster without removing your belt. This option suits users needing convenient on-off carry throughout the day.
Material Options for Walther PPK Holsters
Walther PPK Leather Holsters
Walther PPK leather holster options offer excellent comfort and durability, molding to your body and firearm over time for a snug, glove-like fit. Made from premium full‑grain or Italian leather, these holsters provide natural retention and protection while softening with use—often becoming comfier than synthetic options.
Walther PPK Kydex Holsters
Walther PPK Kydex holster models are ultra-lightweight and rigid, offering precise, custom molding that securely retains your firearm—even under demanding conditions—without needing a break-in period. Their material resists chemicals and weather, provides adjustable retention (often reaching Level II–III), and delivers a satisfying “click” on draw and reholstering.
Walther PPK Nylon Holsters
Nylon holsters are lightweight and cost-effective, made from durable, breathable materials like ballistic or Cordura nylon, making them ideal for concealed carry without adding bulk. Semi-universal designs molded around your firearm—and often compatible with similar-size guns—offer decent retention through body and belt pressure, especially for IWB use.

Excellent holster!!! The Black accents my Stainless-Steel PPK. Fit the PPK like a glove right out of the box. They are comfortable to wear. I have bought many holsters over the year from name brand holster makers, but Craft is by far the top line. So much so, I have seven OWB Craft Holsters and one shoulder holster. You pay a bit more, but the quality is well worth it.
