About Kimber Eclipse - 4"
The Kimber Manufacturing is one of the most successful American firearm producer that is specializing in manufacturing, design and also distribution of various small arms such as the Solo pistols, M1911 pistols and rifles. The Kimber company has been producing firearms since the 1979, when this company was known as “Kimber of Oregon” and focused in accurate .22 rifles.
This pistol features single-action trigger, grip safety and manual thumb safety, 8-round magazine, brush-polished stainless steel frame, black & silver laminate grip. Stainless steel slide and frame are finished in a tough matte black oxide then all flat surfaces are brush polished to create a two-tone look. Eclipse pistols have three dot night sights, bar dot adjustable on target models. Premium Aluminum Trigger and 30 lines-per-inch front strap checkering are constant on the all steel Eclipse pistols. This recoil operated semi-automatic pistol is chambered in .45 Auto caliber. The 45 Automatic is the most powerful military handgun cartridge in use today. This is a heavy and powerful sub-sonic round. Although its muzzle energy can exceed 400 ft-lbs, its velocity and bullet weight creates a steep trajectory curve that limits its effective range to self-defense distances.The length of this model is 7.7-in with 4-in barrel.
