About Tanfoglio 1911 Witness Custom
Tanfoglio is an Italian gun manufacturer. The guns they are producing are used in competitions or self defense. The handguns are also imported into the United States by the EAA, European American Armory Corporation. The company was founded in the 1940s and the first production focused on parts - receivers and hammers.
The Tanfoglio witness is a modified clone of another firearm . It was introduced in 1997 and were and still are imported into the U.S. The gun itself is a recoil-operated, semi-automatic DA/SA. It features a frame mounted manual safety. The frame is made of black polymer and the grips are made of integrated polymer. The Tanfoglio Witness can have more calibers, .40 9mm and 9x21mm. Depending on the caliber the magazine can hold 13 or 17 rounds.
