Gun doesn’t fit in the holster, and not in the “it’s leather so it needs to be worked in” way. The holster isn’t tall enough for the gun to fit in it, and even if it was, the holster isn’t long enough to cover the trigger guard. I may have been sent the wrong holster, I’m not sure.

The holster I purchased is beautifully crafted and a deserving way to holster my S&W 357 626. It fit without stretching anything and now I will need to buy mahogany grips for the gun to match the holster. If I had to say one thing I did not like is there is more trigger exposed than I am normally used to. Shipping also was fantastic. I will be buying holsters here for all of my handguns. Thank you

I found Craft Holsters just with an internet search. I hadn't heard of them before but liked what I saw and decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did. While I'm no leather holster expert, this holster by Vega does seem to be very well constructed with stitching that will stand up for years. I was expecting a difficult break-in but was pleasantly surprised when my S&W 686 slid right in. The strap is easily released with the natural movement and position of the thumb during the draw, unlike some other holsters that have a different strap and snap configuration. This is a great holster for range, carry or just having another level of safety during administrative handling.
