The frame of the 642 airweight 2" is made of aluminium and the cylinder is made of stainless steel. This revolver is favorite among concealed carry gun users for it’s small size.

Excellent leather workmanship. Obvious from the start. No real “break in” needed for my S&W Airweight revolver. Also the break in kit-the oil for softening the leather- was fully intact. I say this because I saw reviews from a few years ago complaining about leakage in transit. Clearly the company has addressed this issue well. Highly recommend!
