About Canik TP9 SF
The Canik TP9 SF is a single-action, striker-fired, semi automatic pistol developed by Century International Arms. The pistol belongs to a popular Canik branch of pistols, all of which are based on the design of the famous Walther P99. This pistol is produced in Canik, a region in Turkey after which the pistol got its name. The Canik TP9 SF was first introduced in 2014 and its production lasted until 2020. This model is considered a full-sized handgun. Its overall length is 7.5 inches and the pistol’s barrel is 4.46 inches long. The Canik TP9 SF comes with a double stack magazine that can be fed with up to 18 rounds of ammo. Just like the name suggests, the pistol relies on the use of the 9x19mm Parabellum cartridge. The Canik TP9SF features a match grade barrel, loaded chamber indicator, striker status indicator, improved single action trigger, reversible magazine catch, Cerakote over phosphate finish, MIL-STD 1913 picatinny rail, interchangeable backstraps. The pistol’s frame is made of black polymer and its grips are made of integrated polymer. Such construction makes the Canik TP9 SF a relatively lightweight handgun despite a bigger size.
