About Smith & Wesson Model 586 - 3"
The Smith & Wesson Model 586, is a six- or seven-shot double-action revolver chambered for the .357 Magnum cartridge. The 586 is a successor to the S&W; Model .The S&W; 586 has a carbon steel construction and is available in a blued or nickel finish, while the other model has a stainless steel construction. Also, since the 586 was directed more to law enforcement, most have shorter barrels than the similar model. The 586 is a descendant of the previous model. The S&W; Model 586 3'' is a revolver from t he L-framed line of Smith & Wesson revolvers. The line is famous for housing medium-large revolvers and this revolver is one of them. It’s metal frame gives it strength and sturdiness.

Although understandingly stiff upon arrival, the use of the denatured alcohol as per instructions made the holster perfect for the weapon. Looks, feels, and performs as advertised. Extremely satisfied!

Fine leather beautifully crafted that fits better than expected. I have owned a few shoulder holsters that for one reason or another didn't fit or feel right. This one is much better and I actually enjoy wearing it. Thank you for a great rig, Tony B
