About Smith & Wesson Model 11 - 6"
The Smith & Wesson 11 - 6’’ is a double-action revolver developed by Smith & Wesson, the world’s most famous revolver manufacturer. The Model 11 was produced from the late 1940s to early 1960s and it is pretty much a variation of the more famous Smith & Wesson Model 10. The only real difference between the two models is that the S&W 11 - 6’’ comes chambered for the .38 S&W cartridge. The S&W Model 11 comes with a 6 inch long barrel and its cylinder takes in 6 rounds of ammo. Right after its introduction, the Model 11 was sent to British Commonwealth countries to supply their armies and police forces. A number of these revolvers were sent to Canada as well.
